We’ve spent so much time these past few weeks talking about the impending explosion in silencer sales (tldr we’re headed for a future where every gun has a silencer on it) that we, along with everyone else it seems, have forgotten about some other big news.
It’ll be nice to have a stock on my TAC-14 and 300 blk 7.5 but I think the thing I’m most interested in is a 10 to 12 inch barrel 22 LR rifle like the Henry Mare’s leg with a stock.
Super-Shorty style conversion kits... 14-Inch shotguns are awesome and I would totally put a folding stock on my Mossberg AOW. But a really short pistol grip shotgun would be a ton of dumb fun.
This will be especially helpful for hobbyists, paying nothing for a form 1, and hopefully still having quick turnaround times makes it way easier to try out weird ideas.
It will let me get a bunch of stuff out of CAD purgatory and actually built, and help with pitching to the owner of the place I do some part time gun design for.
As I commented on the earlier post about the BBB options, the option we got was the most helpful for people in "Illegal unless registered" states. With wait times down to near instant (but sure to go up initially with the demand spike, the paperwork is the minor hurdle, especially with so many dealers now doing affordable "turn-key" registrations.
I, for one am excited to be able to cheaply "SBR all the things" where the biggest pain and expense will probably be the engraving over the paperwork. Perhaps this will lead to some neat things like PS90s being finally offered with correct barrels from the factory and other semi auto subguns being normal products with normal dimensions.

Agree, but I have to go semi-auto.
SBRed Ruger 10/22s, here I come!
Love this vibe
And ONCE AGAIN, the most popular AOW is ignored! Factory Pistol Grip Only shotguns. Think Shockwave or Tac-14 but with a more usable grip.
Almost bought an Ithaca 37 in that configuration years ago, still regret I didn't.
They're a cool vibe but not sure they'll have a reason to exist in a world where SBSes are equally easy to get.
